<p><b>Senior Project Manager, Municipal Roads</b> at <b>GFT</b></p><p>GFT is seeking a <b>Senior Project Manager, Municipal Roads</b> to join our Transportation Practice in the <b>Greater Ottawa Area</b>. This role follows a hybrid work model.</p>

<h3>What You Will Do</h3>
<ul>
<li>Function as a project manager or team lead on municipal roadway projects.</li>
<li>Support pursuit and business development efforts while nurturing and developing client relationships.</li>
<li>Prepare project management plans and manage scope, schedule, and budget.</li>
<li>Maintain a close working relationship with discipline leads, department heads, other project managers, project controls staff, and construction personnel.</li>
<li>Maintain a high level of technical quality on the projects.</li>
<li>Mentor project staff and participate in hiring processes.</li>
<li>Provide effective and efficient management of day-to-day operations within the roads and highways team.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Education & Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>10+ years of related project experience on municipal roadway projects in Ontario and the Ottawa area.</li>
<li>P.Eng. designation required.</li>
<li>Direct experience in a project management capacity with the City of Ottawa.</li>
<li>University degree in civil engineering or related field.</li>
<li>Familiarity with roadway design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Inroads, ORD).</li>
<li>Technical excellence in civil and roadway design.</li>
<li>Thorough understanding of multi-disciplinary project requirements and complexities (utility coordination, construction staging, traffic management, public consultation, external agency approvals, communication and liaison, coordination of sub-consultants and design groups, schedule and budget control, quality control, construction administration, and claims resolution).</li>
</ul>
<h3>What We Prefer You Bring</h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience in BRT and LRT including intermodal transit facilities is an asset.</li>
<li>Familiarity with various delivery models and P3 projects is an asset.</li>
</ul>
