<p><span><strong>Wills & Estates Lawyer</strong></span><br><br><span>Salary is dependent on experience</span><br><br><span><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span><br><ul><li><span>Providing expert legal advice to clients, estate executors, trustees and beneficiaries on estate</span></li><li><span>planning, wills, trusts, and probate matters.</span></li><li><span>Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and probate</span></li><li><span>filings.</span></li><li><span>Managing the administration of estates, including probate proceedings, distribution of assets, and</span></li><li><span>resolution of any disputes that may arise.</span></li><li><span>Representing clients in court and other legal proceedings related to estate administration.</span></li></ul><br><span><strong>Qualifications</strong></span><br><ul><li><span>Member of the Ontario Bar, in good standing.</span></li><li><span>Three to seven years of work experience as an Associate Lawyer in Ontario, with a practice focus</span></li><li><span>on Wills and Estates.</span></li><li><span>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</span></li><li><span>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</span></li><li><span>Compassionate and empathetic approach to client service.</span></li><li><span>Experience in and/or exposure to corporate, tax, and litigation law would be an asset.</span></li><li><span>Experience in and/or exposure to estate litigation would be an asset.</span></li><li><span>STEP designation would be an asset.</span></li></ul></p>
