<p> We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced <b> Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist </b> to join our diagnostic imaging team. In this role, you will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. Our culture is rooted in <b> Compassion, Unity, Humanity, and Inclusion </b> , and we’re committed to supporting your growth with strong benefits, learning opportunities, and a welcoming, team-first atmosphere. </p><p><b> What You’ll Do </b></p><ul><li> Perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound exams including abdominal, pelvic (including transvaginal), obstetrical, breast, and small parts procedures </li><li> Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure their comfort </li><li> Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure high-quality, diagnostic imaging results </li><li> Analyze images and communicate findings with radiologists and other healthcare professionals </li></ul><p><b> Quality & Compliance </b></p><ul><li> Maintain accurate patient records and uphold strict confidentiality standards </li><li> Follow all safety, quality control, and infection prevention protocols </li><li> Collaborate effectively with technologists, nurses, physicians, and administrative staff </li></ul><p><b> What You Bring </b></p><ul><li> Completion of a post-diploma ultrasound program from a recognized Canadian institution </li><li> Active registration and good standing with the <b> College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)</b></li><li> Current registration with <b> Sonography Canada </b></li><li> Proven experience performing a variety of procedures independently, including abdominal, pelvic, TV, obstetrical, breast, and small parts procedures. </li><li> Additional certifications such as MSK or eFTS are considered assets </li><li> Strong understanding of normal vs pathological anatomy </li><li> Ongoing commitment to <b> continuing education </b> as required by CMRITO </li><li> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills </li><li> Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment </li><li> Proficient in operating and maintaining imaging equipment according to safety and quality standards </li></ul><p><b> Compensation details: </b> 40-60 Hourly Wage </p><p> PIa8bc2a40d19d-30492-38502952</p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
