This General Contractor, are looking for an experienced and motivated Traveling Superintendent to lead up their projects across the Nova Scotia area, with travel to their sites in Halifax, Dartmouth and Liverpool required.
Responsibilities of the Traveling Superintendent:
Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Provide strong leadership and guidance to on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
Monitor project budgets and expenses, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
Oversee the implementation of quality control measures to ensure construction work meets industry standards and client expectations.
Qualifications of the Traveling Superintendent:
Strong knowledge of Retail Construction Processes, codes, and regulations.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
