We value respect, integrity, persistence, and passion.</p><p></p><p>Our Hamilton, Ontario plant manufactures Ingersoll disc blades and coulters that improve farm productivity and profitability, and we are looking for <strong>Tool & Die Makers</strong> to join our multi-trade team and support our manufacturing facility.</p><p></p><p>Our <strong>Total Rewards</strong> include:</p><ul><li>$43.10/hour</li><li>$.35/hour COLA</li><li>$1.50/hour shift premium</li><li>12-hour bi-weekly rotating shifts (2 weeks days/2 weeks nights)</li><li>1.5 times for 1st overtime occurrence, 2 times for the second occurrence, and beyond</li><li>100% Group Benefits Employer Paid (premiums)</li><li>Healthcare Spending Account $2500/Single, $5000/Family</li><li>All PPE is provided</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Time Away From Work:</strong></p><ul><li>Floaters</li><li>Vacation</li><li>Opportunity for 1-week banked vacation</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Your Future:</strong></p><ul><li>Up to 5% Employee RRSP Contribution</li><li>Up to 5% Employer RRSP Match</li><li>5% RRSP Gift Agrisolutions Regardless of Employee Contribution</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p><ul><li>Keep yourself of your team members healthy by working safely by following all plant, and safety procedures</li><li>Work collaboratively as part of a team made up of other trades and production operators</li><li>Demonstrate and maintain a consistent output that meets production needs</li><li>Set up and operate all toolroom machines including lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, etc.</li><li>Build, modify, repair, and troubleshoot dies, jigs, and fixtures for production while working to very close tolerances from blueprints, sketches, and samples</li><li>Assist operators in setting up and adjusting presses to ensure the final product meets customer specifications</li><li>Maintain and manufacture tools, dies, and fixtures to ensure quality components at peak efficiency</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring instruments (imperial and metric)</li><li>Perform bench work and skilled fitting to very close tolerances</li><li>Maintain existing dies and perform changeovers</li><li>Maintain documentation and preventative maintenance requirements of press tools</li><li>Recommend maintenance and equipment repair necessary to achieve the highest possible efficiency, safety, and quality</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>What you bring,</strong></p><ul><li>Tool and Die Maker AEC / DEP or Certificate of Qualification (430A)</li><li>Experience working safely in a heavy industrial environment</li><li>Working knowledge of OHSA and relevant legislation (e.g., WHMIS, Lockout, Confined Space, Working at Heights, etc.) and willingness to successfully complete employer-paid training</li><li>Able to prioritize urgency based on production requirements</li><li>Conduct and complete scheduled preventative maintenance work orders, tasks, and checklists</li><li>Accurately document the steps taken and the duration required to diagnose and resolve issues</li><li>Ability to work independently and as a contributing, collaborating team member</li><li>Basic computer literacy</li><li>Safely perform the physical demands of this position including standing, bending, crouching, overhead work, heavy lifting, and carrying.</li><li>Experience with heavy stamping, EDM Sinker is considered an asset</li></ul><p></p><p>Agrisolutions encourages all qualified candidates to apply, and we thank you in advance for your application.
