<p><h3>Overview</h3>
<p>On behalf of our manufacturing client, we are actively looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to join their team. This will require travel within North America and the successful candidate will be required to travel approximately 50% of the time, and then will be IN OFFICE, located in Barrie, ON when not on the road.</p>
<p><b>POSITION OVERVIEW :</b></p>
<p>This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to learn from an industry expert and grow into a leadership role. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment and demonstrate exceptional technical, organizational, and sales skills. You will handle all aspects of customer quotations, project estimations, and sales processes, while also assisting with technical service needs on-site when required. This role requires agility, intelligence, resilience, and the capacity to navigate and excel within a complex and often challenging work environment.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<p><b>Quotations and Estimations :</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Prepare accurate and detailed quotations for industrial air filtration products and maintenance services.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Director of Services to create cost-effective and competitive proposals.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Sales and Business Development :</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Follow up on quotations and close sales through proactive engagement with clients.</li>
<li>Prospect and generate leads through historical customer data, past purchases, and targeted outreach.</li>
<li>Explore and develop new business opportunities, fostering long-term relationships with customers.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Technical Expertise :</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Understand customer specifications and technical requirements to answer questions and provide solutions.</li>
<li>Gain in-depth knowledge of company products and services</li>
<li>Visit customer sites to support technical sales efforts or assist with project execution when needed.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Administrative Support :</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, quotations, and project details in the CRM system.</li>
<li>Coordinate service reconciliation upon project completion, ensuring all documentation is prepared for invoicing.</li>
<li>Step in to support sales administration tasks as required.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Team Collaboration :</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Work closely with the Director of Services to streamline workflows and improve processes.</li>
<li>Maintain a positive and professional relationship with team members, clients, and stakeholders.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Completion of a College Diploma or degree in a technical field of study.</li>
<li>Minimum of 2+ years of experience in technical sales, customer support, or related roles.</li>
<li>Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and ERP systems.</li>
<li>Familiarity with industrial filtration systems, air pollution control, or related technical products is an asset.</li>
<li>Ability to travel within North America, with a valid G license and passport</li>
<li>Strong understanding of sales techniques and business development strategies.</li>
<li>Preferred : Background in engineering, environmental science, or related technical fields is an asset.</li>
