<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>We are seeking a self-motivated, result driven Supply Chain Analyst / Junior Buyer with minimum of 3 years experience. Sunlife extended health, dental and vision group benefit and paid vacations days are all part of our great offering package!</p><p>The successful candidate will be responsible but not limited to the following duties:</p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Plan, forecast and execute local and ocean logistics for importing and exporting</li><li>Work with customs to identify duties, SIMA and taxes for each product and category</li><li>Analyze trends and data to give recommendations and planning for weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly goals</li><li>Coordinate and work with cross functional teams to ensure customers orders are delivered in a timely manner</li><li>Negotiate and work with local and overseas vendors to maximize efficiency and productivity</li><li>Optimize inventory performance via trend forecasting and plan incoming shipments</li><li>Maximizing shipping efficiency by analyzing geographic data to provide best possible and effective options</li><li>Provide <span >weekly/monthly/quarterly</span> shipping reports to management and customers</li><li>Assist Purchasing Manager with inventory forecasting, planning and execution</li><li>Report to management <span >weekly/monthly/quarterly</span> progress</li><li>Update information in our vendor management system</li><li>Maintain and process documentation with ongoing process manual updates</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements and Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s Degree in supply chain management or logistics is a plus</li><li>APICS certification a plus (CPIM or CSCP)</li><li>Supply chain / Logistics experience (Ocean + Land) 3 years minimum</li><li>Efficient at self follow up all assigned tasks</li><li>Experience with ERP software</li><li>Attention to detail, with a keen eye on finding deficiencies</li><li>Experience with import and export process (min 3 years)</li><li>Self motivating and team player</li><li>Excellent problem solving and communication skills</li><li>Computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, functions, macros, Vlookup</li></ul><p> </p></p>Company Description<p>Recognized by The Globe and Mail as one of Canada’s fastest-growing companies, we are one of the largest leading company of import and distribution of construction and industrial accessories—including fasteners, concrete and metal products, drywall accessories, and more.<br><br>Proudly Canadian-owned and operated, we offer national distribution coverage and are backed by a team of experienced professionals who pride ourselves with our service and expertise to our customers like no other.
