Diversified Staffing Services, Alberta’s leading staffing agency is looking for a Fly-In Fly-Out Site driver with a class 1 license.

Job description Reporting to Operations Management, the Site Driver is responsible for the transportation and offloading of LNG loads at customer site

Key Responsibilities:

•Holds safety and our Standard Operating procedures, as this highest priority

•Coordinates closely with Transport Group to ensure delivery demands are being met and key information is being transferred.

•Installation, repair and Commissioning of equipment at Customer Site

•Overseeing delivery of new LNG equipment

•Maintaining equipment to required standards and codes and ensuring all equipment in operation has the necessary maintenance completed as defined by Company Standards and Rules and Regulations.

•Understanding the rules and regulations surrounding LNG – in particular applicable CSA standards, Transport of Dangerous Goods

•Complete necessary paperwork timely and accurately using relevant computer system and software as directed.

•Training of 3rd party operators in the safe operation of equipment

•Resolution of technical defects and enquiries from Customers

•Monitoring service delivery and KPI’s to ensure our performance targets are being met.

•Development of initiatives, strategies and targets around Technical operation and service

•Following change management process within the company

•Proactively make suggestions to improve our management system and operational performance to drive continuous improvement.

•Ability to accommodate on site rotational schedules with extended periods away from home (food and board included while at site)

•Maintain necessary certifications required to operated equipment as needed

•Complete company training program and core competencies as directed General

Requirements/Qualifications:

➢ Certified to operate class 8 trucks and trailer combinations as required with sound knowledge and experience of all commercial transportation rules and regulations.

➢ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

➢ Positive outlook, completes tasks efficiently and safely

➢ MS Office proficiency necessary

➢ Experience in a 24 x 7 operation, preferably in the transportation industry

➢ Clear understanding of Transportation regulations and rules an asset (work rest hours, commercial transportation regulations etc.)

➢ TDG Certification

➢ Safety minded at all times

➢ Mechanically inclined

➢ Strong problem solving capabilities and strong initiative

➢ Willingness to learn

➢ Candidate must live in the following hubs: Prince George, Whitehorse, Nanaimo, Edmonton, Kelowna

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
