We deliver compliance-driven, high-value transaction solutions with speed, discretion, and precision.</p><strong>Position Summary</strong><p>We seek a highly experienced Senior SWIFT Administrator / Network Manager for a three-month consulting engagement to oversee and execute secure global payment messaging infrastructure. This technical role involves full back-end access to SWIFT messaging systems and includes responsibilities related to secure data transmission between financial institutions, system configuration, and compliance with industry-standard protocols and regulatory requirements.</p><p>This role is central to a time-sensitive, high-value transaction project involving the execution of interbank messaging procedures including, but not limited to, MT103, MT202, MT199, and MT799 formats. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with <strong>server-to-server</strong> bank communication setups and <strong>direct communication with receiving and issuing bank compliance officers</strong>.</p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><li><p>Configure, monitor and manage all SWIFT-related messaging infrastructure for high-value international transfers</p></li><li><p>Execute message formats including MT103, MT202, MT799, MT199 with compliance to SWIFT FIN/CBPR+ standards</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with the receiving bank to ensure server-to-server communication protocols are securely established</p></li><li><p>Oversee message delivery confirmations (RMA authorizations, SWIFT GPI tracking, acknowledgments)</p></li><li><p>Ensure all communications align with AML, FATF, and Basel compliance standards</p></li><li><p>Maintain audit trail and reporting structures for all transmitted messages</p></li><li><p>Advise AltFunds Global and its legal/treasury partners on optimal timing and sequencing for multi-step wire transactions</p></li><li><p>Liaise directly with counterparty institutions’ compliance and operations departments to confirm acceptance of MT799 pre-advice and MT103/202 final confirmations</p></li><li><p>Provide oversight and documentation in connection with procedures outlined in the ACRB March 2025 Transfer Protocols, including bank-to-bank and server-to-server delivery sequences</p></li></ul><strong>Required Qualifications</strong><ul><li><p>Minimum 10 years of SWIFT system administration and network management experience within the financial services sector</p></li><li><p>Proven experience managing SWIFT FIN messages: MT103, MT202, MT799, MT199</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience in handling secure <strong>server-to-server</strong> payment messaging configurations between global banking institutions</p></li><li><p>Deep familiarity with payment processing, SWIFT protocols, and interbank transfer controls</p></li><li><p>Understanding of KYC, AML, and international banking compliance frameworks</p></li><li><p>Substantial documentation and reporting capabilities</p></li><li><p>Ability to work under tight timelines with minimal supervision and a high degree of discretion</p></li><li><p>Experience with high-volume, high-value transactional environments preferred</p></li></ul><strong>Contract Terms</strong><ul><li><p>Duration: 3 months (with possible extension based on project requirements)</p></li><li><p>Remote with coordination across global time zones</p></li><li><p>Must be available for real-time communications and verification procedures during active wire operations</p></li><li><p>Compensation commensurate with experience and project sensitivity</p></li></ul><strong>Application Instructions</strong><p>Qualified applicants should submit a CV outlining relevant experience, two professional references, and a brief cover letter detailing recent SWIFT or server-to-server banking projects.
