We value excellence, accountability, and teamwork while supporting professional growth.</p><h3>Position Overview</h3><p>The Senior Mechanical Engineer leads complex projects from acquisition to completion, mentors team members, and represents Rockford in client engagements. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with leadership, project management, and client relationship skills.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead multidisciplinary projects, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.</li><li>Provide technical guidance, design reviews, and quality oversight.</li><li>Prepare proposals, manage schedules, budgets, and scope changes.</li><li>Serve as Lead Design Engineer or Subject Matter Expert (SME) for specialized or complex applications.</li><li>Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.</li><li>Support manufacturing, testing, and commissioning to maintain design intent.</li><li>Mentor engineers and designers, fostering collaboration and excellence.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Industrial Systems Engineering.</li><li>P.Eng. with APEGS (or eligible).</li><li>12+ years progressive experience in complex machine design.</li><li>Strong project management, multidisciplinary knowledge, and industry standards expertise.</li><li>Proven ability to lead, influence, and mentor in dynamic environments.</li><li>Valid Class 5 driver\'s license; people management an asset.</li></ul></p>#J-18808-Ljbffr
