As we experience rapid growth, we are seeking a talented Senior Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our manufacturing operations.

Purpose and Scope


The Senior Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer is responsible for developing methods for manufacturing processes. Developing jigs and fixtures, identifying areas for improvement to make and sustain high levels of product quality. Sourcing spare parts. Plan and execute the setup of new machinery.

Organizational Relationship


Senior Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer reports to the Director of Operations.


Job Duties

  • Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement
  • Assist in developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow.
  • Implementing new processes.
  • Ensuring manufacturing processes comply with safety standards.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Creating maintenance schedule for new manufacturing equipment.

Skills and Qualifications


Skills

  • Ability to initiate, plan and manage projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to use all Microsoft Office and SolidWorks
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices.
  • Strong communication skills
  • A team player.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a light engineering industry.
