Our Amico Accessories team is currently looking for a Senior Buyer to join our growing team.<br /><br />Position Overview:<br />The Senior Buyer will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services. This role will involve supplier quality management, contract negotiation, cost control and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet operational and strategic goals.<br /><br />Qualifications:<br /><br />Bilingual in Mandarin is a definite asset<br />Must have purchasing experience and be able to read manufacturing drawings<br />Formal college or university education<br />Demonstrated experience managing suppliers, performance and developing long-term relationships<br />Experience in Metal fabrication, surface finishes, and custom manufacturing environment<br />Highly organized, creative and self-motivated<br />Excellent verbal and communication skills.<br /><br />Key Responsibilities:<br />Prepare and execute RFQs/RFPs<br />Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet quality, cost, and the delivery objectives<br />Collaborate with internal departments such as Production, Engineering, Quality Control, and Finance to align purchasing strategies with operational needs<br />Negotiate contacts, pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers<br />Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or service<br />Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement continuous improvement initiatives<br />Perform daily reviews of purchase requests and the inventory management system, ensuring purchase orders are issued in a timely manner<br />Ensure all activities comply with company policies, established purchasing processes, and quality management workflows<br />Other duties as required<br /><br />Here are some of the perks that our Amico employees receive:<br /> Competitive base salary.<br /> Comprehensive benefits package.<br /> Employer paid vacation<br /> Employee referral program<br /> Lots of opportunities to grow.<br /><br />Only selected candidates will be contacted for an interview.<br /><br />
