During a history spanning some 60 years, They have designed some of Canada’s most notable buildings.</p><p>The employee-owned firm is staffed with well over 100 experienced architects, designers, project managers, administrative staff, including LEED, Evidence-Based Design and LEAN accredited professionals, many of whom are dedicated to specific market sectors. </p><p></p><p><strong>SENIOR ARCHITECT </strong></p>Role and Responsibilities<ul><ul><li>Collaborate and foster team environment to deliver the highest level of design.</li><li>Manage the design team and subconsultant coordination process.</li><li>Ability to lead and present in meetings with clients or municipalities</li><li>Direct and oversee high-quality documentation, provide guidance with technical detail, & explore new solutions</li><li>Ability to drive the project forward towards successful completion / Motivates and challenges others to perform at their best</li><li>Participates in networking activities within the design industry and professional organizations</li><li>Manage Construction Administration process, able to work independently and handle RFI’s, site visits, field reports, & submittal review</li></ul></ul>Qualifications and Education Requirements<ul><ul><li>Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree</li><li>Minimum of 10 years of professional experience</li><li>Experience in the healthcare, justice, institutional, commercial and research areas preferred</li><li>Eager to learn, good listener, curious & proactive with strong time management skills</li><li>Clear understanding of applicable codes & building construction systems, materials, and standards</li><li>Understanding of Permitting & Entitlement process.</li><li>High proficiency with Revit, Sketchup, & Adobe Creative Suite</li></ul></ul><p><strong>Please apply with a copy of your most up to date resume/C.V and portfolio if possible. </strong></p></p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
