This role typically involves standing for extended periods-often for 8 hours or more during a shift. <br /> <br /><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES :</strong><br /> <ul><li><strong>Incident Reporting:</strong> Document and report incidents accurately, ensuring all relevant details are captured for future reference and analysis.</li><li><strong>Maintain a visible security presence:</strong> Staying stationed at a fixed location within the retail premises to deter theft, vandalism, or other suspicious activities.</li><li><strong>Threat Assessment:</strong> Evaluate situations to determine the level of risk and recommend appropriate responses.</li><li><strong>Professional Communication:</strong> Maintain clear and professional communication through email correspondence with team members and other stakeholders.</li><li><strong>Assist customers and staff</strong>: By providing directions, answering safety-related questions, and offering assistance as needed, without disrupting the flow of operations.</li><li><strong>Emergency Response:</strong> Act swiftly in emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.</li><li><strong>Documentation and Record Keeping:</strong> Maintain accurate logs of incidents, inspections, and other relevant documentation for compliance and review.</li></ul> <br /><strong>REQUIREMENTS :</strong><ul><li>1-2 years of experience working in a security sector.</li><li>Must have a valid<strong> Ontario Security License.</strong></li><li>Must be at least 18 years old.</li><li>Must be eligible to work in Canada up to <strong>40 hours a week.</strong></li><li>High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.</li><li>Familiarity with operating technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.</li><li>Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office</li><li>First Aid and CPR</li></ul> <br /><strong>Benefits:</strong><ul><li>Opportunities for career growth and advancement.</li><li>Paid training and development programs.</li></ul><strong>Disclaimer:</strong><br /> <br />As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
