Route Sales Representative


Do you have a passion for sales? We are hiring a Route Sales Representative that will be responsible for driving a high level of door/store acquisitions to maximize the points of distribution of products within the designated region within Convenience & Gas (C&G) channels in Edmonton. The Route Sales Representative will be responsible for acquiring new business relationships and growing the overall revenue and profitability in the respective vertical/region. Responsibilities: Selling with excellence to C&G prospects and clients Utilizing field sales experience to prospect, secure new business and develop value-oriented business relationships Representing and helping build product brands in a socially responsible manner within a regulated industry Strong prospecting skills to drive new product or program lunch performance Connecting and following up with existing clients to build long-term relationships to sustainably grow the business Servicing will entail helping clients overcome challenges, merchandising, replenishment of product and taking reasonable steps to ensure a positive client experience Coordinating daily route planning, inventory management, C.O.D. selling Qualifications: Field/territory management experience (2-3 years) Experience cold calling & winning new business Understanding of the selling process end-to-end, and demonstrable selling skills Disciplined time management, Plan/structure one’s day/time according to priorities Comfortable using and leveraging the Web, Applications and CRM systems Valid Drivers License and own vehicle Position Type: Permanent Work Model: Remote, on the road selling Interested in the Business Development Associate role in Edmonton?
