Work Location: 1006 Douglas St, Victoria, BC V8W 2C3, Canada Position: Retail Sales Supervisor Number of Vacancies: 1 Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Year around Wage: $26.00 per hour for 35 hrs/wk Job Duties: Supervise and coordinate sales staff and help them achieve sales targets by motivating them and monitoring their performance Assist in recruiting new sales associates/cashiers Assign sales workers to duties, Authorize return of merchandise, Sell merchandise, Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters, Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages, Organize and maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers Ensure cleanliness and professional appearance of the store Job Requirements: Completion of Secondary School is required Minimum 1- year experience as a sales clerk or salesperson is required Previous experience as a sales supervisor is an asset Excellent communication skills Must be customer service oriented Ability to multi-task Ability to effectively coach and mentor sales team members Strong organization skills Essential Skills: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Ability to work and communicate with others, Ability to work under pressure Contact Information: Interested applicants can email their resumes at Thanks to everyone who applies however only those considered for an interview will be contacted.
