Any increases to wage rates that may come as a result of negotiations, will be retroactively applied once negotiations are completed, and a new agreement has been finalized*Position Summary *Working closely with other members of the department, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs clinical imaging procedures while maintaining an environment which is patient-focused. Other responsibilities include: ensuring all procedures are performed according to established protocols and standards of practice and in a safe and compliant manner according to CNSC regulations; participating in various training programs and research studies; and contributing to an environment which supports clinical excellence and continuous learning.*Schedule Work Hours *Monday to Friday; days*Qualifications *1. Graduate of an approved training program in Nuclear Medicine Technology2. Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologist of Ontario3. Basic Life Support Certificate (must be current or acquired within 3 months)4. Ability and willingness to work with and teach students5. Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment6. Demonstrated effective communication, organization and interpersonal skills7. Effective problem solving skills, critical thinking and the ability to prioritize in a fast paced clinical environment8. Evidence of participation in on going education & professional development9.
