What is the opportunity? As a Regional Director, you will provide overall market management by leading the establishment and achievement of team objectives, including client services and sales activities. Your focus will be on delivering a superior client experience through advice-driven client discussions. You will also be responsible for coaching and developing staff, ensuring high employee capability and engagement through focused sales routines and promoting a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee insurance store operations.
- Reinforce a client-first culture and actively coach team members to deliver a superior client experience.
- Represent RBC Insurance in the community, demonstrating leadership, attracting new business, and increasing client referrals.
- Lead market sales plans, adjusting team activities to meet or exceed targets.
- Drive team sales success through regular routines and coaching.
- Recruit, retain, and maintain a pipeline of talent.
- Apply performance management through reviews, sales calls, coaching, and development plans.
- Build sales force capabilities with necessary skills, knowledge, and certifications, including knowledge of RBC partners for referrals.
- Stay informed on current events, market news, and internal updates.
Qualifications - Must-have:
- Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written).
- LLQP (Life Insurance License).
- Proven people management, sales leadership, and sales management experience.
- Experience in multi-line insurance sales and business development.
- Strong selling and sales management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong team management abilities.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules.
Nice-to-have:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
- French language skills.
- Financial Planning designation.
