As our firm continues to grow, we are looking for professional, energetic, and detail-oriented individuals to join our Real Estate team. </p><p>We are currently hiring experienced <strong>Real Estate Law Clerks </strong>for full-time employment. Ideal candidates will have <strong>2-5 years or more </strong> of hands-on experience working in a law firm setting, supporting real estate transactions from start to finish. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities and Tasks: </strong> </p><p>Firm expects employees to work in a professional manner with colleagues and clients and complete all assigned responsibilities and tasks. </p><p><strong>Required Qualifications: </strong> </p><ul><li><p><strong>Minimum 2-5 years </strong>of real estate law clerk experience in a law firm environment </p> </li><li><p>Proficiency in <strong>Teraview, Closer, Unity, LDD, FCT, TELUS Assist, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook </strong> </p> </li><li><p>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision </p> </li><li><p>Strong adaptability to new tasks, strategies, and procedures </p> </li><li><p>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with clients, lawyers, and team members (in-person, by phone, and via email) </p> </li><li><p>Exceptional written communication skills with keen attention to spelling and grammar </p> </li><li><p>Highly organized, fast learner, and proactive with a positive and professional demeanor </p> </li><li><p>Advanced post-secondary education is considered an asset </p> </li> </ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong> </p><ul><li><p>Handle real estate files from start to finish, independently or as part of a team </p> </li><li><p>Review Agreements of Purchase and Sale and conduct appropriate title and off-title searches; <br /> </p> </li><li><p>Draft all relevant documents for purchase, sale, and refinance of residential properties; <br /> </p> </li><li><p>Attend client meetings to take instructions and review documents; <br /> </p> </li><li><p>Identify and raise potential legal issues to the supervising lawyer; <br /> </p> </li><li><p>Obtain and review title insurance policies and endorsements; <br /> </p> </li><li><p>Collect and organize client information and supporting documents; <br /> </p> </li><li><p>Prepare and respond to requisitions; <br /> </p> </li><li><p>Maintain and organize files in accordance with firm procedures; <br /> </p> </li><li><p>Assist with administrative duties such as client scheduling, </ul> </li> </p> </p> </p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
