Doormat

Our VisionDoormat is on a mission to make real estate transactions dead simple. Our vision is to transform the real estate industry with innovative, tech-enabled solutions that make real estate transactions more transparent, affordable, accessible and easy to understand for consumers. Every year millions of Canadians transact on their properties and time after time they are met with stress, high legal fees, and an experience that doesn’t match their digital expectations. We exist to ensure our clients focus more on celebrating their major life milestone instead of stressing about it.The OpportunityWhile a real estate lawyer is required for the large majority of real estate transactions in Canada, the process has seen very little innovation, leaving a client experience that doesn’t match today’s expectations. We help clients complete their property transactions by providing both end-to-end real estate legal services and a digital, web-based app for them to monitor their transaction’s progress and interact with our team. We leverage our proprietary digital solution to bring transparency and simplicity to the process. You’ll get to join our rapidly growing team to help build out our client facing and internal apps. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape all things design at Doormat; from the design of Doormat’s products to our brand and design system. Our team is small but mighty.
