And now we’re looking for an entrepreneurial-minded individual to join our rapidly growing team. As a Product Designer, you will work alongside our Head of Product and CEO. This is a great opportunity for an Intermediate to Senior User Experience and Interface Designer who possesses a real passion for phenomenal design, a superb aesthetic sense, an extraordinary eye for detail, and a deep appreciation of user experience. Note: This is a hybrid opportunity for someone based in Vancouver, BC (50% in our beautiful water-front Gastown office, 50% from home). We welcome applicants from all walks of life. Even if you don’t feel you meet every requirement listed, we would still love to hear why you think you would be an awesome addition to our team, and we encourage you to apply. 3 years experience in digital product design with hands-on experience throughout the process, from user research to developing prototypes and collaborating on implementation Experience in delivering: user persona/journeys, wireframes, UX flows, mockups, interactive prototypes, design specifications, final assets Understanding of Design systems, information architecture, design patterns, and interaction design Familiarity and ability to promote and manage appropriate usability testing and user research endeavors Familiarity with wireframe/design/prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or equivalent An amazing portfolio that demonstrates your experience in product and visual design Experience creating beautiful graphical assets to support marketing efforts and product releases Bonus points for: Experience working on a medium-large scale Saas product Experience working in a startup environment What you’ll do Craft solutions that meet carefully considered requirements for new product features and improvements Work with a cross-functional team, partnering with users, product owners, and development teams to deliver business value Work with the engineering team throughout the build process to refine and guide the design as it takes shape Use data to inform your decisions Speak with customers and other stakeholders to test your assumptions and designs Own and maintain the design system to build a library of reusable UI components Suggest changes that can holistically elevate the product, marketing, and brand design Create engaging assets to support marketing efforts, blog posts, and product releases This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing technology startup.
