In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs designed to improve mobility, restore function, and enhance overall quality of life for clients in a long-term care setting. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.<br><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform assessments of clients’ physical abilities, mobility, and functional limitations.</li><li>Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment plans.</li><li>Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise programs, mobility training, and pain management strategies.</li><li>Educate clients, families, and staff on safe movement techniques and rehabilitation practices.</li><li>Monitor and document client progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary.</li><li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care.<br><br></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.</li><li>Registration (in good standing) with the <strong>College of Physiotherapists of BC (CPTBC).</strong></li><li>Experience in long-term care, rehab, or community health (asset).</li><li>Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Current CPR certification.</li><li>Full immunization records (DTaP, HepB, MMR).</li><li>Negative 2-step TB test or recent chest X-ray (within 6 months).</li><li>Valid driver’s license (asset, if applicable).<br><br></li></ul><p><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p><ul><li>Work with a supportive and growing team.</li><li>Make a meaningful impact in the lives of clients.</li><li>Opportunities for professional development and growth.<br><br></li></ul><p><strong>We thank all applicants for their interest.
