They believe that every healthcare professional deserves access to high-quality, affordable education, and they require a highly motivated Pharmacist to manage all aspects of the research pharmacy in line with regulatory requirements, including stock management, medication preparation, dispensing, record keeping, maintenance of SOPs and other activities in line with clinical trial protocol, sponsor, and regulatory requirements. Main responsibilities: Maintain research pharmacy SOPs and establishment plans. Maintain Pharmacy sections of the Research Site Files. Maintain pharmacy technical appliances – calibrate temperature monitoring devices. Maintain restricted access control to research Pharmacy. Investigational products management. Maintain adequate stock levels of Investigational products. Procure investigational products (correct documentation). Store Investigation product under correct conditions at the site. Label Investigational products prior dispensing. Dispense Investigational product as per protocol. Receive and reconcile Investigational products returns. Store Investigational (used and unused) onsite until monitor confirms IP accountability. Dispose IP as per sponsor requirement. Qualifications and Registration: Bachelor of Pharmacy. Active registration with South African Pharmacy Council. Good Clinical Practice certificate (advantageous). Job-related experience required: Minimum 5 years working as qualified pharmacist with research, public, private, or civil society experience. Clinical trials experience (advantageous). Additional requirements: Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing Xhosa and English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Valid code 08 driver’s license.
