Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML&#39;s expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.<br><br>Job Responsibilities:<br><br>QUALIFICATIONS:<br><br><ul><li>Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.</li><li>Occupational Health Nursing certification (COHN(C)) is an asset.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in occupational health, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.</li><li>Strong knowledge of WSIB processes, OHSA, and medical accommodation practices.</li><li>Excellent communication, organizational, and case management skills.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.</li><li>Willingness to work flexible hours and travel between plant locations as needed.</li></ul><br />KEY COMPETENCIES:<br><br><ul><li>Ability to assess health conditions and determine appropriate interventions quickly and effectively.</li><li>Skilled in managing complex injury and illness cases, including WSIB coordination and RTW planning.</li><li>Strong understanding of OHSA, WSIB, Human Rights Code, and occupational health standards.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills to work with employees, HR, HSE, and external healthcare providers.</li><li>Maintains high standards of privacy and professionalism in handling sensitive health information.</li><li>Ability to identify health trends, assess risks, and contribute to data-driven decision-making.</li><li>Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.</li><li>Passion for educating and empowering employees to take charge of their health and well-being.</li></ul><br />PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:<br><br><ul><li>Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.</li><li>Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours as required.</li></ul><br />PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORKING ENVIRONMENT: <br><br><ul><li>Combination of office, medical clinic, and production floor environments.</li><li>Frequent walking, standing, and movement between departments.</li><li>Occasional bending, reaching, and lifting of light medical equipment (up to 25 lbs).</li><li>Periods of computer work requiring visual focus and sitting.</li><li>Exposure to industrial noise and temperature variations when on the production floor (PPE provided).</li><li>Flexibility in working hours may be required to support multiple shifts or respond to incidents.</li><li>Occasional travel between plant locations.</li></ul><br />This position will require a certain amount of training both in-house and off-site. The person who accepts the position will be expected to follow a learning curve with continuous development.
