Cedar Tree Farm Help Wanted – As soon As possible. Fraser Valley Cedars has an opening for a full-time Field Hand at our tree farm in Abbotsford. (One opening left on our LMIA -for those who require it.) Duties will include: -Prepare the soil, plant seeds, transplant seedling, and root cuttings. -Transplant trees into larger pots as they grow. -Protect young trees from winter weather. -Inspect plants for pests and treat them to avoid the disease spreading. -Water small plants regularly ensuring the soil is dry between watering. -Clean, maintain, and store tools and equipment daily. -Other general farm duties as assigned.
