Landscape Foreman

A division of Spruce It Up Garden Centre, Scape It Up Design & Construction provides high quality custom landscape design and installation to Calgary and the surrounding area. Scape It Up is honored to win Gold for the 2022 Reader’s Choice Awards for Landscaping Services Responsibilities: – Lead crew of up to 5-6 people – Read, follow and instruct other regarding designers construction plans – Operate machinery such as skid steer, bobcat and excavator – Drive truck and trailer to and from site and load machinery onto trailers – Service equipment, keep trucks and other assigned equipment in a neat and orderly fashion – Safeguard employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area, staying in frequent communication with workers – Maintain a positive attitude and be a role model for the crew – Communicate to project manager and site manager on a daily basis Qualifications: – Hardscaping experience required (understanding of engineered wall) – Must be able to carry 50lbs at a minimum and work outside in all weather conditions – A clean valid Driver’s License is required with at least 3 years experience – Strong leadership, communication and organization an asset We offer competitive wages compensated by experience, paid OT, health benefits, training, potential to become year-round employment, a positive and respectful work environment, and more.
