<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>PROPAK ENERGY SERVICES</strong>, a division of Propak Systems LTD. with over 45 years’ experience designing, fabricating and constructing modularized gas and oil processing facilities, compression and power generation equipment. Propak Energy Services operates a multi branch service network across Western Canada and the Rocky Mountain States. Propak is authorized to sell and service Waukesha and Caterpillar engines as well as Ariel, Mycom, Cooper, Dresser-Rand, Gemini, Sullair and Howden compressors.</p><p>We are currently seeking a <strong>Journeyman</strong> <strong>Refrigeration Mechanic</strong> experienced in the gas processing industry. This position will also perform process plant start-ups, mechanical overhauls, and refrigerant reclaiming.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong></p><ul><li>General knowledge pertaining to start-up and operation of Petrochemical Process Plants</li><li>Observe and test system operation, using gauges and instruments.</li><li>Adjust valves according to specifications and charge system with proper type of refrigerant by pumping the specified gas or fluid into the system.</li><li>Test lines, components, and connections for leaks.</li><li>Dismantle malfunctioning systems and test components.</li><li>Adjust or replace worn or defective mechanisms and parts, and reassemble repaired systems.</li><li>Perform mechanical overhauls and refrigerant reclaiming.</li><li>Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications.</li><li>Keep records of repairs and replacements made and causes of malfunctions.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years’ experience in the natural gas processing and/or compression servicing industry</li><li>Excellent administration, communication and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize</li><li>Ability to work in independently with limited supervision</li><li>Customer service skills</li><li>Ability to work extended hours</li></ul><ul></ul><p>Journeyman Level:</p><ul><li>Hold a valid recognized Alberta Journeyperson Trade Certificate or a recognized trade certificate or equivalency document.</li><li>Inter-Provincial Red Seal Certificate is preferred.</li><li>5 years of directly related work experience.</li><li>As a condition of employment, employees are required, upon hire, to sign a Drug-Free Workplace Agreement, a Conflict of Interest Agreement and Confidentiality and Invention Agreement.</li><li>This position may be required to direct, coach, and mentor apprentices.</li></ul><p><strong>Propak Energy Services </strong>thanks all applicants for their interest however only those selected for an interview will be contacted. </p><p><em>No phone calls please.</em></p></p></p>
