<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: $90-100k<br /><p>We are hiring a hands-on Intermediate IT Infrastructure Administrator to join our growing technology team.</p><p><br /></p><p>You will be responsible for maintaining our cloud operations in the Amazon Cloud, including our on-premises server as well as our data and network infrastructure in our data centres.</p><p><br /></p><p>This is an exciting as well as a critical role because it offers an opportunity to work on a large-scale multi-location mission in a fast-paced and collaborative technological environment.</p><p><br /></p><p>Our ideal candidate possesses a technical and entrepreneurial spirit, and a get it done and get it done right attitude!</p><p><br /></p><p>WHAT YOULL NEED TO KNOW HOW TO DO</p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Must be able to configure, maintain and support a large and complex application environment on AWS Cloud</li><li>Must be able to configure, maintain and support Microsoft server operating systems in a VMWare environment</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>WHAT YOULL GET TO DO</p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Perform a broad set of network and system maintenance activities such as writing scripts to automate tasks</li><li>Configure, maintain, and support a Cisco data network</li><li>Administer and support Cisco telephony systems</li><li>Manage backups, disaster recovery and business continuity readiness plans and testing</li><li>Perform security analysis and maintain security at physical, network and system levels</li><li>Serve as the first line of defence against intrusion and inadvertent system damage</li><li>Perform network and system-level performance tuning and capacity planning</li><li>Contribute to various business initiatives and projects working with internal teams as well as vendors and external partners</li><li>Assessments of On-Premise technologies and leveraging Cloud when required</li><li>On-call after-hours support rotation</li><li>Support all business applications</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>DESIRABLE EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE</p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences or a combination of work experience</li><li>3-5 years of experience managing at a similar scale</li><li>Excellent communicator and able to convey complex ideas succinctly</li><li>Naturally curious: if something seems off, you want to figure out whats going on!?</li><li>Knowledge of Unix and Windows scripting</li><li>Infrastructure as a code such as Terraform and Ansible</li><li>Basic database administration such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL and Couch Base</li><li>Self-motivated and must possess a strong work ethic</li><li>Problem solver and thinker a strong desire to always make things better</li><li>Open to change and trying new things</li><li>Must possess attention to detail and take pride in their work</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>BENEFITS</p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Competitive salary and vacation benefits</li><li>A company that has sustainability as one of its core values</li><li>Corporate support for community volunteering during work hours</li><li>Employee referral bonus program</li><li>Learning opportunities including support for training, self-development and well-being</li><li>Support for the work-life balance including a flexible schedule</li><li>A personal pizza allowance to share the pizza love with your friends and family</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>ADDITIONAL DETAILS</p><p><br /></p><ul><li>This position can be located atour Abbotsford head office</li><li>Travel is sometimes required between both offices and car kilometres are reimbursed</li><li>This position is a blend of remote and in-office until further notice</li></ul></p></p>
