Hiring Student Painters – Make 10-14k May-September

Hey there Our painting team at Student Works painting is looking for motivated individuals to join our spring/summer painting and marketing team We are looking for the hardest-working, most motivated students (or student-aged people) in Calgary and Okotoks who want to be a part of a very tight-knit group of awesome people who want to earn what they are worth. This season alone, our team will be responsible for painting 50 homes which will result in happy clients and crew members. About the position: -Fast-paced, fun environment -Hands-on experience in customer service and communication -Work outdoors with a crew of 2-3 people -Working with friends is encouraged, so apply together if you wish -Training is provided; therefore, no experience is necessary Position Descriptions Painter: This role is a fun and challenging position that is ideal for someone wanting to get hands-on work experience and make money over the summer. The ideal individual is hard-working, coachable and has effective communication skills. Crew Manager: In addition to painting, in this role you would gain experience in leadership and would run a crew of 2-3 people. Ask to be considered for this if you feel you may be a good fit. Painter Requirements: -Able to work full-time throughout the majority of the summer -Must have own transportation (jobsite locations change frequently) -Manual labor and ladder work required. Painter compensation: -Our painting systems allow our top painters to make upwards of 20- 28$/hour, with our average painter making 17$/hour. -Pay is based on a piece rate system. Painters have the potential to make upwards of 30$/hour depending on their efficiency. -Starting rate dependent on experience. Raises based on proven skill after the start date. Bonuses will depend on performance and the criteria established by the Manager. Marketer Description: Confident, articulate, and persistent people are needed for door to door flyer dropping and cold calling. Can expect 5-12 hours of work per week (February-May) Marketer requirements: Experience is an asset but not required (all employees will be fully trained in the field) Vehicle is an asset but not required Position may lead to full-time in the summer Marketer compensation: -Every crew member can expect to make a minimum of minimum wage and our last years highest earning employees were averaging $25/hr.
