Hiring Heavy Equipment Technician

St. Louis Services Ltd is a very busy, Heavy Duty Mechanic shop in SE Calgary. Due to the high volume of traffic in and out of our shop, we are currently looking to expand and are currently hiring for heavy equipment technician (Journeyman), to join our evening crew (All experience levels welcome to apply) – Hours are Monday to Friday 11:30AM to 8:00PM The right individual(s) will have the ability to operate basic shop hand and power tools, oil/lube services, welding/minor fabrication, light replacement, etc. Along with the right attitude and a willingness to learn and grow. Core traits: Hard working Positive Attitude and Work Ethic Punctual Reliable Willingness to Learn Enjoys being Challenged Strong Communication and Problem-Solving Skills Ability to Work Productively Alone and in a Team Qualifications: Journeyman (If applicable) CVIP Certified (Preferred) Registered Apprentice Driver’s License (Preferred) Class 3 License (Preferred) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $21.00-$43.00 per hour Benefits:Extended health care Schedule: 8 hour shift Experience: mechanical: 1 year (preferred) Heavy Equipment Mechanics: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: Journeyman (preferred) Trade Certificate (preferred) Work Location: One location
