Graphic Designer

Job Description

We're looking for an Intermediate Designer to join our retail client's team on a full-time, 4-5 month contract, with the possibility of extension. This is a hybrid role, requiring you to work in-office in Mississauga 2 days per week. The ideal candidate will be a task-oriented individual who excels in a fast-paced environment and is adept at juggling multiple projects with a sense of urgency. You'll primarily focus on digital design, with a minimal amount of print work.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce digital assets, including emails, social media posts for platforms like Meta, Reddit, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, as well as web cards.
• Develop and use holiday templates to increase efficiency for high-volume email campaigns.
• Receive and implement feedback from team members and brand teams to refine designs.
• Work collaboratively to create designs from provided copy and images.
• Create and edit short video clips (9-13 seconds) using Adobe After Effects to add supers and transitions.
• Produce animated GIFs for email campaigns.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of design experience, specifically beyond a junior-level role.
• Strong multichannel and digital design background, including email and social media.
• Design for Retail. Experience with women's fashion is essential.
• Proficiency with design software, including Figma and Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects.
• Experience with project management tools, such as WorkFront.
• Ability to work quickly and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Openness to receiving and incorporating feedback.
• Ability to design in both English and French (translations will be provided).
