Our client is hiring for a Material Handler / Receiving & Warehouse Associate for their Uxbridge plant.

Shift timing: 8:30am to 5pm (Mon - Fri)

Pay rate: $19

Duties

• Receive incoming shipments, verifying the contents against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
• Utilize inventory control software to receive inventory and manage stock location accuracy.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet stackers and pump trucks to late and pick inventory safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring all packages are handled with care to prevent damage.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize shipping and receiving processes, contributing to overall operational goals.
• Perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and posses the ability to lift boxes in excess of 25 lbs.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment or related area is preferred, particularly in shipping and receiving roles.
• Proficiency in using inventory control software for tracking inventory is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Basic math skills are necessary for accurately processing orders and inventory counts.
