<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: <br /><p>We are seeking a highly skilled <strong>Full Stack (Angular/Python) Developer</strong> to join our client for a six-month contract. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to build, maintain, and optimize full stack applications. A strong focus on <strong>technical expertise</strong>, <strong>team collaboration</strong>, and <strong>automation</strong> is essential for success in this role.</p><p><br />This is a contractual hybrid role for a period of 6 months, with the potential for extension. The candidate must work from the Toronto office 3 days/ week.</p><p><strong><br><br>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using <strong>Node.js (Angular)</strong> for frontend and <strong>Python (API)</strong> for backend services.</li><li>Work with <strong>MS SQL</strong> for database development, optimization, and integration.</li><li>Create and maintain <strong>automated unit tests</strong> and <strong>automated security testing</strong> pipelines to ensure high-quality, secure code.</li><li>Use <strong>GitHub Actions</strong> to support seamless <strong>CI/CD workflows</strong>.</li><li>Manage <strong>Git branching strategies</strong>, submit <strong>pull requests</strong>, and actively participate in <strong>peer reviews</strong>.</li><li>Contribute to agile ceremonies and maintain work tracking using <strong>Jira</strong>.</li><li>Engage in <strong>pair programming</strong> to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration.</li><li>Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, contributing to a positive and productive team culture.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills & Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience in full stack development with <strong>Node.js (Angular)</strong> and <strong>Python APIs</strong>.</li><li>Proficiency in working with <strong>MS SQL</strong> databases.</li><li>Hands-on experience in writing and maintaining <strong>automated unit and security tests</strong>.</li><li>Solid understanding and practical use of <strong>GitHub Actions</strong> for CI/CD automation.</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>Git branching</strong>, <strong>pull requests</strong>, and <strong>peer code reviews</strong>.</li><li>Experience working in <strong>Jira-based Agile environments</strong>.</li><li>Comfortable and experienced in <strong>pair programming</strong> settings.</li><li>Strong <strong>interpersonal and communication skills</strong>must be a team player with a collaborative mindset.<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><p>We offer a competitive salary, casual workspace, and great people to collaborate with.
