Are you a skilled financial strategist with a passion for optimizing business operations? Our client, a leader in customizable fleet management solutions is looking for a Finance Manager, to join their Burnaby team. As a key player, you’ll be responsible for driving quality service levels and mitigating any potential issues to ensure long-term success. Your consultative approach to customer relations will be the key to unlocking growth and profitability for our business. The Finance Manager will be reporting to Managing Director. Responsibilities: Ensure accuracy of documentation and promptly address any issues with deal processing for accounting purposes. Obtain approval from finance sources on all financial deals by submitting necessary documentation Consult and support clients in business planning, budgeting, and financial management to secure turnaround or complex financing. Provide consistent and accurate Status Updates for all stages of deal approval and processing Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders through effective and consistent communication, coaching and mentoring Recruit, hire, manage and maintain a high-quality team to facilitate transactions with lenders and customers Maintain a solid understanding and comprehension of all federal and provincial regulations related to fleet management and lending Ensure account activities adhere to company policies and practices Requirements: 3 years of commercial leasing experience Post-Secondary degree in Business and/or Finance Strong background in fleet management or transportation, as well as knowledge of leasing and automotive financing Demonstrated ability to influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents as well as problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work effectively with Senior Management and Stakeholders Strong independent worker who takes initiative and works well with minimum supervision and as part of a team Highly organized, numbers focused and detail oriented with good sense of business acumen Excellent time management and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines Goal-oriented professional with proven strong customer service and sales skills If you are passionate about sales, results-driven, and have a desire to contribute to the success of an organization, we encourage you to apply in confidence by directly emailing your resume to Trevor Martin at: tmartinlocksearchgroup.com Thank you in advance for your interest, only individuals deemed to have the skill set and experience to fit the role will be contacted.
