<p>Menno Home is a 40-bed long-term care facility located in Grunthal, MB, just 40 minutes south of Winnipeg and 20 minutes outside Steinbach, MB.</p>
<h3>Job Description</h3>
<p>Menno Home is currently recruiting physicians to oversee the medical services for the Personal Care Home. The Designated Physician(s) will be responsible for:</p>
<ul>
<li>Supervision of residents' medical care</li>
<li>Examination of residents as required by their condition</li>
<li>Collaborating with nursing staff and providing 24/7 on-call medical consultation</li>
<li>Adhering to policies outlined in the Physician Services in Personal Care Homes document</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Eligibility for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba</li>
<li>Membership or eligibility for membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association</li>
<li>Criminal record and adult abuse checks</li>
<li>Ability to meet job demands</li>
<li>English language proficiency</li>
<li>Willingness to respect the home's faith-based mission, vision, and values</li>
</ul>
<h3>Compensation</h3>
<p>Remuneration is based on an Independent Contract practice as per Doctors Manitoba Agreement. Benefits are not included but can be purchased if desired.</p>
