Expeditors are expected to have an in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage items in order to answer questions about food, allergens, beverages, wine, and other restaurant functions and services. <br><br><strong>What will you be doing? </strong><br /><em>You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:</em><ul><li>Ensure timely and efficient flow of orders from the kitchen to the front of house</li><li>Check dishes for accuracy, presentation, and temperature</li><li>Practice a high level of floor awareness and clear/clean as required</li><li>Manage the proper setup of the coffee station and expo pass</li><li>Monitor the pass, sections, and dish area to ensure all materials and areas are clean</li><li>Monitor cleanliness of silverware and glassware; clean as needed</li><li>Follow all food safety standards and systems</li><li>Empty garbage, change linen bags, and dispose of garbage and recycling</li><li>Communicate to Servers and/or leaders any comments or feedback to ensure a positive guest experience</li><li>Other duties as assigned or required </li></ul><strong>What are we looking for?</strong><br /><em>To successfully fill this role, you should demonstrate the following: </em><ul><li>Minimum of 16 years of age</li><li>Valid Serving it Right Certification</li><li>Positive attitude</li><li>Good communication skills</li><li>Committed to delivering high levels of customer service</li><li>High attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work effectively & remain calm working in fast-paced environment</li><li>Excellent time management skills</li><li>Ability to work unsupervised</li><li>Works well with a team</li><li>Takes initiative</li><li>Experience with Squirrel and OpenTable an asset</li><li>Available for a minimum of 3 days per week including evenings, weekends, and holidays</li></ul><strong>Perks</strong><ul><li>Employee discounts on accommodations, dining and marina at our sister properties (Hotel Eldorado, Manteo Resort and Eldorado Marina, and Hampton Inn & Suites Kelowna Airport, Home2Suites)</li><li>An excellent work environment, with a focus on staff recognition and teambuilding</li><li>Room for growth and development</li></ul><strong>Don&#39;t miss this exciting opportunity to join our Eldorado Resort family!</strong><p>Powered by JazzHR</p><p>0NjfdX0RJA</p></p></p>
