<strong>Job Description<br><br></strong><strong>The Bethesda Regional Health Centre (BRHC) Emergency Physician group is accepting applications for positions in the Emergency Department at BRHC. </strong><strong>Start date and EFT can be negotiated. </strong><strong>BRHC has a 21 bed Emergency department, that is staffed by at least one physician 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. There are 12 hours of double coverage, with two physicians on site in the Emergency Department. The site has on-call general surgery, obstetrics and anesthesia services. Respiratory therapy (RT) is available from 0800-1600 from Monday to Friday. </strong><strong><strong>Required Qualifications: </strong></strong><strong>Required licensure: Medical Degree with post-graduate training in Family Medicine or Royal College Certification in Emergency Medicine </strong><strong>Preferred: Post-graduate training in Family Medicine with Certificate of Added Competency in Emergency Medicine<br><br></strong><ul><li>Current licensure or eligible for full license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba</li><li>ACLS</li><li>PALS</li><li>ATLS</li><li>NRP</li><li>Procedural Sedation</li><li>PoCUS with EDE1 or equivalent</li><li>AIME or equivalent airway management course<br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>Remuneration/Hours: </strong></strong><strong>In accordance with the provincial contract<br><br></strong><ul><li>As per the negotiated agreement with Doctors Manitoba and Shared Health</li><li>Part-time EFT’s are available</li><li>Shifts may also be filled on a casual basis</li><li>Available shifts are a variety of 6, 8 or 12 hours in length<br><br></li></ul><strong>Interested physicians should submit a CV with attention to ED training (example CCFP-EM), experience, up-to-date information regarding certification in PALS, ACLS, NRP and ATLS.
