This is a physically demanding, hands-on role supporting drilling operations both in the field and at our shop. A valid drivers license and relevant experience are required.</p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><li><p>Assist the driller at various job sites</p></li><li><p>Load and unload tooling and heavy materials</p></li><li><p>Perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance</p></li><li><p>Drive long distances, sometimes with a trailer</p></li><li><p>Perform shop and yard maintenance tasks</p></li><li><p>Maintain inventory and organize tools and consumables</p></li><li><p>Work outdoors in all weather conditions</p></li><li><p>Travel overnight for extended periods, including some weekends</p></li></ul><strong>Qualifications</strong><ul><li><p>Valid drivers license (required)</p></li><li><p>Must own a reliable vehicle (no public transportation available)</p></li><li><p>Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions</p></li><li><p>Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and out of town</p></li><li><p>Ability to lift and handle heavy materials</p></li><li><p>Drilling experience is an asset</p></li><li><p>First Aid, WHMIS, and other safety certifications are an asset</p></li><li><p>Equipment operation and mechanical skills are a plus</p></li><li><p>Must be punctual, hardworking, reliable, and a team player</p></li><li><p>Successful candidates must pass a drug test, drivers abstract, and criminal record check</p></li></ul><strong>Benefits</strong><ul><li><p>Competitive hourly wage: $21.00 - $24.00</p></li><li><p>Health and dental benefits after 3 months</p></li><li><p>Casual dress</p></li><li><p>Disability insurance</p></li><li><p>Extended health care</p></li><li><p>Flexible schedule</p></li><li><p>Life insurance</p></li><li><p>On-site parking</p></li><li><p>RRSP matching</p></li></ul><strong>Schedule</strong><ul><li><p>Monday to Friday</p></li><li><p>Overtime as needed</p></li><li><p>Weekend work as needed</p></li></ul><strong>Willingness to Travel</strong><ul><li><p>50% (preferred)</p></li></ul><strong>Work Location</strong><ul><li><p>In person</p></li></ul></p></p>
