Are you ready to become a key player in our growth and transformation within the Project Management Office? Reporting to the Vice President, Operations, the Director will formalize and continue implementing the structure of the project management office to support Norda Stelo’s strategic and growth ambitions. As an inspiring and bold leader, they will also be responsible for developing and improving the existing team to increase the maturity and robustness of internal procedures involving control, support, and project management. Your political and strategic acumen will allow you to adjust to a context of growth and innovation in the context of major projects.

Your responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute the strategic plan of the project management office in relation to the company’s objectives and vision.
  2. To support the markets (business units), define, prioritize and manage the project portfolio to ensure that projects are aligned with the company’s strategic priorities.
  3. Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide senior management with updates on the status of the project portfolio.
  4. Establish and apply project management policies, procedures, and best practices throughout the company.
  5. Assess and improve project management office procedures, tools, and practices on a continuing basis.
  6. Implement quality assurance procedures to ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in accordance with high-quality standards.
  7. With the help of project managers and directors, define the management method for monitoring the progress of all of the company’s projects.
  8. Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders, including executives, project teams, and external partners in a matrix organization structure.

Our essentials

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
Mastery or relevant certification (e.g.: PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP).
15 years of experience in project management, with proven experience in successfully leading complex and major projects.
Previous experience in a leadership role in a project office (PMO), ideally in the deployment and implementation of a robust project management office structure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the company.
Strategic thinking and the ability to align the objectives of the project management office with the company’s strategic objectives.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
Business acumen and financial management skills.
Change management skills and a mobilizing leadership style.
Bilingual (French and English).
