As this company continues to expand, they are seeking to hire a talented and driven individual to join their team as the Director of Finance. As the Director of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial success of the hotel group. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. You will work closely with department heads to develop strategies that optimize revenue and maximize profitability. What you will get to do:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making. Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting activities. Collaborate with department heads to establish revenue targets, expense budgets, and performance goals.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal stakeholders and external parties. Ensure compliance within ASPE framework.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow projections and manage liquidity to support operational needs and investment initiatives. Implement strategies to optimize cash flow and mitigate financial risks.
  • Cost Control: Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to improve efficiency and reduce expenses. Evaluate vendor contracts and negotiate favorable terms to maximize value.
  • Revenue Management: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop pricing strategies and promotional campaigns. Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics to maximize revenue generation.
