CLASS 1 DRIVER W/ YARD RESPONSIBILITIES

Steady, stable hours, in town, no shift work, home every night. Full time, year round with no seasonal layoffs (duties will change with off season). Overtime availability Excellent training opportunities & skills advancement Opportunities for advancement into leadership positions Medical benefits Variety of responsibilities DUTIES Loading & unload trucks with recycled concrete & precast products, utilizing forklift, telehandler & skidsteer. Move product out of building & into storage Direct trucks where to park and where to unload General maintenance & organization of yard General maintenance of equipment Operate forklift, telehandler, excavator, skidsteer Miscellaneous other duties During the off season the duties are primarily yard work with sporadic deliveries. Deliver product to customer site & unload and place items REQUIREMENTS Clean abstract, class 1 license You must be able to comfortably lift 50 lbs. Excellent communication skills, proficient English Language skills & able to clearly communicate. You must have or get within 4 months of start date a valid 1st aid ticket, WHMIS and CSTS. Have a positive attitude with a mindset towards problem solving. Ability to work unsupervised and work well with others. Adaptability, versatility and ability to balance timelines. Ability to work efficiently & safely within set safety guidelines. Equipment operator experience is an asset. Preference will be given to candidates with excavator, forklift & loader experience but we do train for the position as well. Valid drivers license and own transportation. Public transportation is not available in our area. Wages vary based on experience. Minimum starting wage of $25/hour. Applicants must provide a resume to be considered for the position.
