<p><strong><u>Bilingual Contracts Analyst (EN/FR)</u></strong></p><p><strong><u>Calgary, AB, Canada</u></strong></p><p><strong><u>Hybrid (3 days from home, 2 days in office)</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p><em>1-year contract to start, with strong opportunity for long-term or permanent employment</em></p><p><br></p><p>Our client, a leading player in the <strong>oil and gas industry</strong>, is seeking a <strong>Bilingual Contracts Analyst</strong> to join their team in Calgary, AB. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment, supporting critical commercial activities and contract processes across the organization.</p><p><br></p><p>As a Contracts Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and executing a wide range of agreements, managing trade confirmations, ensuring compliance with internal processes, and supporting the continuous improvement of contract management practices.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p><ul><li>Degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.</li><li>Proven contract management experience, ideally in commodities or oil & gas.</li><li>Strong understanding of commodity contracts, delivery terms, and Incoterms.</li><li>Skilled in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts.</li><li>Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Comfortable working independently and in a team setting.</li><li>Experience with ERP systems, CLM systems (iCertis), Monday.com, MS Office, and SharePoint is an asset.</li><li>Professional designation (CCM Practitioner or similar) and knowledge of commercial insurance are assets.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What You Will Be Doing</strong></p><ul><li>Draft, review, amend, and renew sales, service, supplier, and transportation agreements.</li><li>Review and approve trades, ensuring accurate and compliant ERP setup.</li><li>Confirm trade details with counterparties, resolve discrepancies, and manage timely confirmations.</li><li>Prepare and issue trade confirmations for review, sign-off, and execution.</li><li>Support logistics and operations teams with agreement execution.</li><li>Maintain organized filing of contracts and related documents.</li><li>Improve contract templates and processes, including exploring automation opportunities.</li><li>Train and educate internal teams on updated processes.</li><li>Provide reports and project support to the Contracts Manager.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Perks and Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Strong compensation and benefits package.</li><li>High likelihood of transitioning to a permanent role.</li><li>Great culture with supportive and collaborative teams.</li><li>Excellent learning and professional growth opportunities.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Interviews are already underway, no cover letter required.
