Bag Machine Operator<BR><BR> PERMANENT 3 shift rotation - up to $27/hr + benefits<BR><BR>LOCATION: Mississauga, Ontario<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR> High School Diploma or GED<BR> 3 years+ experience in printing industry including experience on similar machines preferred<BR> Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs<BR> Good mechanical aptitude<BR> Able to work safely in accordance with company and legislative Health & Safety standards and policies<BR> Excellent verbal and written communication skills<BR> Strong time management skills with reputation for punctuality and reliability<BR> Attention to detail to accurately read production sheets, sample boards and schedule lists<BR> Collaborative attitude with ability to interact effectively with management and colleagues<BR><BR>Duties:<BR><BR> Operate bag machines, packaging at required dial speeds and working towards achieving daily production targets while preserving quality according to customer specs<BR> Roll preparation<BR> Re-web machine<BR> Machine adjustments<BR> Adjust slits, adjust / replace tucking blades, adjust and / or replace spots, change coarse / fine knives<BR> Cut and install correct bottom pasters, maintain glue levels<BR> Labelling, counting and palletizing<BR> Machine cleaning<BR> Documentation and reporting<BR> Quality control and assurance<BR> Identify and report variations and deviations<BR> Perform other duties as assigned
