The base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.</p><p>As a candidate, you are encouraged to ask compensation related questions and have an open dialogue with your recruiter who can provide you more specific details for this role.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>This position oversees a portfolio of approximately 300 vendors, including 27 high, 64 medium, and 200 low risk-rated vendors, representing an annual spend of ~1.7B and over 3,000 active contracts/SOWs. The AVP leads a team of ~50, comparable to or larger than other AVP roles in Procurement. The role impacts stakeholders across multiple lines of business, manages strategic relationships, and provides governance to ensure vendor operations align with internal controls and regulatory requirements. The AVP is accountable for developing and executing category strategies, performance management, reporting, and issue escalation for assigned vendors.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Oversees the Sourcing and Vendor Management office that is responsible for supporting the end-to-end Third Party relationships for Global P&T Infrastructure & Engineering and Enterprise Protect</li><li>Leads the team that oversees multiple strategic, high-profile and/or enterprise vendor relationships & negotiations impacting stakeholders across LOBs.</li><li>Leads strategic relationship(s) and provides guidance to key TD business executive teams within the portfolio.</li><li>Accountable for the development of strategies/initiatives to achieve a high-quality vendor service while supporting the growth objectives of the P&T Organization.</li><li>Ensures contract negotiations and vendor relationships are continuously optimized and providing strategic value to the organization.</li><li>Enhancing ongoing monitoring of the overall portfolio.</li><li>Provides strategic guidance to business/functional leaders to ensure escalated concerns/governance issues are appropriately managed.</li><li>Manages vendor risks and issues in alignment with Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework, 3PCRM requirements; provide governance to assure key vendors are operating in alignment with internal control and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Responsible for supporting direct VP with transforming key processes towards the targeting operating model.</li><li>Drives data strategy to enable transparent stakeholder reporting, KPIs, KRIs etc., for our VMO.</li><li>Act as the lead in any change management required coming from Enterprise Partners.</li></ul><h3>Education & Experience</h3><ul><li>Demonstrated leadership in managing line-of-business partners and enabling change.</li><li>Proven ability to attract and develop superior, results-driven talent.</li><li>Experience supporting speed, simplicity, and agility in decision-making.</li><li>Strong collaborative, enterprise mindset and approach to problem-solving.</li><li>Capabilities in strategy development, financial management, and business acumen.</li><li>Senior-level relationship management and talent management experience.</li><li>Delivery of procurement targeting operating model and alignment to Procurement/TPRM/TPRO/TD Handbook for Day 2 responsibilities.</li><li>Contribution to productivity and operating cost reduction targets.</li><li>Business and technology savvy, with outside-in thinking and industry perspectives.</li></ul><h3>Who We Are</h3><p>TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
