About the team:
The Technology Planning and Cooperation Department promotes strategic innovation across all of Huawei Canada. Working with fellow experts, the focus is researching new and upcoming areas of technology as well as strategic planning to help achieve long term vision of Huawei. This department offers a unique opportunity to leverage both technical and business skills.
About the job:
Gain insights and identify cooperation opportunities within key academic organizations in major ICT research fields, such as AI, software, computing, and semiconductors. Develop cooperation plans to address global industrial challenges, leveraging competitions, funds, academic journals, conferences, and seminars/workshops.
Identify valuable academic resources related to Huawei's business and carry out cooperation in the academic field, particularly in the areas of competitions, funds, academic journals, and seminars/workshops.
Integrate internal and external resources to ensure successful project implementation and achievement of cooperation objectives.
Manage connections with high-end academic experts both within and outside the company.
Gain insight into the internal dynamics of academic organizations and technology development trends through participation in academic conferences or analysis of journal papers. Foster an open atmosphere for innovation and academic exchanges, and expand cooperation resources.
