SAP Project Manager

Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their SAP Modernization Program (SAPMP) Leadership team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with various teams within the organization, external vendors, and partner departments to ensure the successful planning, execution, and reporting of SAPMP requirements and deliverables.
Your responsibilities will include:

– Taking charge of overall project management and providing leadership for relevant initiatives.
– Spearheading the development of a new collaborative operational support model and overseeing the planning of Work Package 3 (People and Loans).
– Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to create integrated project plans.
– Facilitating timely and integrated status reporting across stakeholders, adhering to organizational and project governance structures.
– Working closely with the SAPMP and Service and Sustainment leadership teams to offer expert recommendations, support, and advice.

Mandatory qualifications for this role include:

– Over 10 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager.
– Proven leadership and project management skills specifically in SAP-related projects for over 10 years.
– Expertise in project financial control and forecasting processes for at least 5 years.
– Senior management or consulting experience in business application master data structure changes spanning over 7 years.
– Prior experience leading large SAP multidisciplinary projects for clients in sectors such as Health, Education, or the provincial, as well as SAP Service Management, for at least 5 years.

Desired qualifications include:

– Previous experience with systems integration.
– Delivery experience in environments involving multiple external vendors.
– Management experience in multi-project delivery settings.
– Prior involvement with the Provincial Service Management teams.
– Possession of a PMP designation or 10 years of project management experience.

Additionally, you’ll be responsible for leading and guiding internal and external resources to achieve project deliverables effectively.
