Human Resources Specialist

Job Description
The HR Geo Services Specialist role is responsible for providing HR support to the geographies within their scope of responsibility. These roles deliver the HR services that require close physical proximity to business operations and cover one to multiple UPS locations. High level responsibilities vary by country based on the level of BPO support received, management of employee concerns and complaints, inquiry management, implementation of local services and programs to reduce employee turnover, talent acquisition, select onboarding / offboarding activities, and on site learning facilitation.

Responsibilities
Management of employee concerns and complaints
Employee retention activities
Update job descriptions and job specifications
Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc.
Source and recruit candidates by job fairs, open houses (in person activities)
Screen candidates resumes and job applications
Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
Maintains applications, and applicant flow logs in accordance with standard company procedures.
Files documents and answer phone calls.

Qualifications
Recent graduate from Human Resources Management program or equivalent
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
Exceptional oral, written and interactive communication skills in English
Skilled in effective research tactics with strong organization skills
Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality
Ability to convey a positive and professional image to internal and external customers
Driver’s license
Willing to travel to various centers, and work off site

Compensation:
$18.56 hourly

Schedule
Monday to Friday from 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
